1 - The first cut.

First we cut out 2 pieces 6-1/2" long from some 6061-T6 angle alum 2-1/2 X 4 X 1/8 (bought at A.S.)
Trim them on a saw to 1-1/2 X 3-1/8 X 6-1/2 (see below).
The lines from the felt marker are exacltlt 45° (how convenient)
The KR plans call for these brackets to be 5.5" high to be mounted on the Spar. I am using the new (taller) airfoil and required them to be 6.5" high for spar mounting.

NOTE: I will be proving on line diagrams once I finish this project in a few weeks.
