Dual Control Sticks/dual_t.JPG

Things are starting to take shape here...
The lower aileron shaft is fitted with a 1-1/2" 3/4" I D. 7/8 O.D bronze bushing and will be held in place with those 2 sawed in half collars. I wanted the metal tab that hold the aileron cable to be able to rotate on the tubing as the control stick is pushed fore and aft. This will reduce the aileron for and aft cable motion from 1-1/2" down to about 1/2" and smooth the control action a bit. Overkill? Yes, but that's my choice.

I promise to remove 4 lb's of un-needed aluminum from my Corvair engine to make up for many of my little weighty luxuries.

"S" shaped control stick arms coming soon that allow this assembly to be mounted in front of the spar. If I was mounting them the traditional way behind the front spar I would be almost done now except for 4 swivel holes, welding and paint.

The push rod horn will transfer elevator control movement through my removable hollow arm rest seats to a cable bellcrank mounted on the center rear spar. Click here for seat details.
